Monaco. Aeroporto. Terminal Due. Almeno, ci ho provato. E poi è successo quello che è successo.
The terminal was closed and all personnel evacuated at around 15.30 (local time) after a passenger’s laptop reportedly set-off an explosives detection machine. Security officials were unable to confirm whether the traces detected on the laptop were in fact explosives, as the passenger disappeared into the secure area of Terminal Two with his laptop bag before he could be stopped. An airport spokesperson subsequently said that the passenger may have been unaware that his bag was required to be rescreened and simply in a rush to catch his flight. All personnel in the terminal at the time of the incident were rescreened before the terminal was reopened.
